This
oil pressure switch/sensor is responsible for monitoring the oil pump
and lubrication system. It function is to makes sure the lubrication
system is working properly. It detects if the pump functions with
anomaly or relief valves are stuck open, senses if there is insufficient
oil, and provides inputs that determine the useful life of the oil. If
the parameters are not within the manufactures specifications it will
notify the driver, you with red oil light on the dash. Each Oil pressure
switch Sensor Sending Unit has undergone strict quality inspection to
ensure that the product is intact and functions to OEM Specification to
insure delivery of uninterrupted real time engines oil pressure data to
the DME/ECU.
